Accessibility
Updated October 20, 2026
SGT Diecast wants everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
How the site is built for that
- Pictures that carry information have text descriptions, and the concept illustrations are labeled as illustrations.
- Controls work from the keyboard and show where the focus is. The #18 car viewer turns with the arrow keys or the view buttons, not only by dragging.
- Show times are listed in Eastern Time, with your own local time beside them when your device is set to another time zone.
- The opening animation on the home page plays once per visit. A tap, a key press, a scroll or a swipe skips it, and if your device asks for reduced motion it shows a still picture for a moment instead of the movement.
- Form fields have labels, and a form that cannot send says so and gives the phone number instead of pretending it worked.
Before launch the site was checked with automated accessibility testing at phone and desktop sizes and by keyboard. It has not been audited by an outside accessibility firm.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of the site is hard to use, call or text (203) 994-0877 and we will fix it or get you the information another way.
Using the store
The store works from the keyboard: filters, product pages, the cart and checkout can all be used without a mouse, and the cart is a dialog that returns focus to where you were.
The store can be browsed without JavaScript: every piece has a Buy now button that leads to the review page, and the filters are plain links. Finishing a checkout, and asking to be emailed when a preorder opens, need JavaScript turned on, because the check that tells people from automated scripts runs in your browser. If that is a problem for you, call or text us.
Checkout itself runs on Stripe's pages, which Stripe builds to its own accessibility standard.
